This year's Earth First Summer Gathering takes place in East Anglia this year, starting on the 10th of August and running for five days. With six workshops tents we have space for over 100 discussions, presentations and workshops. The spaces are filling up fast, but there is still time to book a spot.

Last night Inside Out Security in New Basford had it's windows smashed.
A Conference hosted by the Network for Police Monitoring.

We can now announce that set-up will begin from around 2pm on Saturday, 31 July. Marquees, tools and construction materials will be arriving on site from Saturday morning so there will be plenty to do. You will be able to camp on the site from Saturday and there will be skeleton facilities (water, basic kitchen) from that time.

Over the past three week three mobile phone antennas have been destroyed by fire in the Nottingham area. In each instance the action was performed with fervour and carried out in anger at the capitalist culture. A culture which seeks to dominate its surroundings in order to increase it's power over it's inhabitants.
At lunchtime on Wednesday 26th May two addresses in Belper, Derbyshire, were raided by the North Yorkshire Counter Terrorist Unit.
On 17th January 2009, as the bombs rained down on Gaza, six people entered the EDO factory in Brighton, which makes parts for weapons that have been used against the people if Iraq, Afganistan and Palestine. They threw computers and filing cabinets out of the first floor window and took hammers to machinery used for weapons production.
Last night the magistrates court next to the bus station in the middle of bristol was attacked. all the reachable windows were smashed out and spray paint messages left on the walls "fuck the law not the poor!"
